New 65,000PE Wastewater Treatment Plant serving the towns of Portrane, Donabate, Rush & Lusk in North Dublin.
The scheme also included ten pumping stations, rising mains, upgrade of the existing sewer network, marine outfall and estuary crossing.
Scope of Works:
Installation and testing in accordance with WIS 4-32-17 of 7km of interconnecting process pipework and rising mains with a diameter range of 100-900mm, using Concrete, Ductile Iron, Steel, HDPE and uPVC pipe materials, together with associated fittings, sluice valves, air valves, flow meters and hydrants.
Manholes, flow meter and flume chambers were constructed in precast and reinforced concrete to depths of over 4.5m.
The contract also included the installation of 4km of electrical and telecommunications ducting, construction of access roads, footpaths and site development.
