Pedestrian Link Scheme, Hand’s Lane:

The scheme involved the installation of a traffic shuttle controlled shuttle system on Hand’s Lane in Lusk.

Scope of Works;

Traffic and pedestrian management design and implementation
Site investigation to locate existing fibre optics, power, water and telecoms services
Installation of power and communications ducting for the traffic signal and public lighting installations
Temporary and permanent trench reinstatements in roads and footpaths
In-situ kerbing and concrete rubbing strips to channel traffic
Cold milling and re-surfacing of carriageway
Public lighting, traffic signal and loop detectors
Traffic Signs, line-markings and boundary fencing

The works were carried out under the Public Works Contract for Minor Building and Civil Engineering Works designed by the Employer PW-CF5.
